Catch My Mangos · Last updated: June 2026

Catch My Mangos ("the Game", "we", "us") is a free browser game available at catchmymangos.com. This policy explains what limited information the Game uses and how. We have designed the Game to collect as little data as possible.

Information we do not collect

The Game does not require an account. We do not ask for, collect, or store your name, email address, phone number, photos, location, or any other personal information that identifies you. There is no login, no profile, and no chat.

Information stored on your device

To make the Game work and remember your preferences, we store a few small values locally in your own browser (using localStorage): your best score, your sound and music on/off settings, and a simple count of how many times the Game has been opened. This information stays on your device, is not transmitted to us as personal data, and you can clear it any time by clearing your browser data.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand, in aggregate, how the Game is used — for example how many people play, which screens they reach, and how scores progress. This helps us improve the Game. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to measure usage. We have configured Google Analytics in a privacy-protective way: advertising features, ad personalization, and Google "signals" are disabled, and IP addresses are anonymized. We use this data only in aggregate and do not use it to identify individual players.

Google processes this data as described in Google's Privacy Policy.

Cookies

The only cookies set by the Game are those used by Google Analytics for the aggregate measurement described above. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the Game will still work.

Children's privacy

The Game is family-friendly and may be enjoyed by children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Consistent with that, we do not run personalized advertising, we have disabled Google Analytics advertising features, and we do not build profiles of players. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will promptly address it.

Sharing your score

The Game includes an optional "Share my score" button. If you choose to use it, your device's own sharing feature creates a message (and a score image) that you send to recipients you choose. We do not receive or store the contents of anything you share.

Third parties

The Game is hosted on Netlify, which may process basic technical request information (such as IP address) to deliver the site, as is standard for web hosting. Aside from Netlify and Google Analytics described above, we do not share data with third parties.

Your choices

You can opt out of Google Analytics by using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, by using your browser's "Do Not Track" / privacy settings, or by blocking cookies. Clearing your browser data removes the locally stored values described above.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above will reflect any changes.
